How Much Does Botox Cost in Austin? Our Actual Prices, Explained

Almost nobody publishes this number, which is exactly why everyone asks it. Search for Botox pricing in Austin and you'll mostly find "call for pricing" — so here are our actual rates, how the math works, and what the total genuinely comes to for the most common treatments. Prices below are our published rates at the time of writing; the current menu always lives on our services page.

The short answer

At The Wellness House, neurotoxin is priced two ways, and which one is cheaper depends entirely on what you're treating:

  • Per unit — $6/unit for Dysport and Daxxify, or $10/unit for Botox, Xeomin and Letybo. Both tiers have a 20-unit minimum.
  • Flat package — our House All-You-Need Tox is $399 for the three classic upper-face areas (forehead, the 11s and crow's feet), with up to 45 units of Letybo and a complimentary two-week refinement.
  • Small single-area tweaks — a lip flip, brow lift or nose tip lift is $100 for one area, using roughly 4–8 units.
  • Larger muscle work — masseter jaw slimming is $500 (up to 50 units), and the Nefertiti neck lift is $600.

What that works out to in practice

Per-unit pricing only means something once you know roughly how many units are involved. Dosing is always decided by your injector based on your anatomy, your muscle strength and the result you want — but for a sense of scale, a single upper-face area commonly lands somewhere in the 10–25 unit range, and treating all three classic areas at once often falls in the 30–45 unit range.

So the arithmetic looks something like this. Twenty units of Botox at $10 is $200. Forty units is $400. Forty-five units of Letybo, priced per unit, would be $450 — which is why the $399 House package tends to win for anyone treating all three upper-face areas, and why we built it that way. Treating one small area only? Per-unit is usually the better deal, and the $100 flat rate for a lip flip or brow lift beats both.

One honest caveat the industry tends to gloss over: a Dysport unit is not the same size as a Botox unit. Dysport is dosed differently, so it typically takes more units to treat the same area — which means $6/unit and $10/unit are not an apples-to-apples comparison, and the final totals land closer together than the sticker prices suggest. Anyone selling you Dysport purely on a lower per-unit number is telling you half the story.

The costs people forget to budget for

Two line items surprise first-timers, so we'd rather you hear them here than at checkout:

  • A new client consultation is $50, and it's applied toward your treatment total if you're treated the same day.
  • Texas law requires a Good Faith Exam for all new aesthetic injection clients — that's an additional $50 at your first visit, then once a year after that. It also applies to your treatment total when received the same day.
  • There's a $500 treatment minimum on Fridays and Saturdays for injectable services. Weekdays have no minimum, so if you're coming in for a smaller treatment, book Tuesday through Thursday.
  • A two-week Tox Follow Up is $50 — the visit where we assess how everything settled and use any remaining product if needed. It's complimentary and pre-booked when you choose the $399 House package.

How often you'll actually pay it

Cost per visit is only half the picture; the other half is how often you come back. Most standard neurotoxin results last in the range of three to four months, so a typical maintenance rhythm is three to four visits a year. Daxxify is FDA-approved for extended duration, with results lasting up to six months for many people — fewer appointments a year, which can change the annual math even at the same per-visit price. Masseter slimming tends to hold four to six months and often improves with repeat sessions.

Why cheaper isn't always cheaper

Austin has no shortage of $4/unit promotions, and we'd be doing you a disservice not to mention what drives that number down: heavily diluted product, an inexperienced injector, high-volume scheduling that leaves no time for assessment, or a loss-leader price designed to get you in the door for something else. None of those are automatically disqualifying — but the thing you're actually buying with an injectable is judgment. Where the product goes, how much, and when to say no is the entire difference between a result nobody notices and a result everybody does.

The other quiet cost is correction. Filler that has to be dissolved, or a heavy toxin result you wait three months to grow out of, costs more than getting it right the first time. We price conservatively, dose conservatively, and would genuinely rather undertreat you and refine at two weeks.

How much does Botox cost in Austin?

At The Wellness House, Botox is $10 per unit with a 20-unit minimum, so a typical treatment runs from about $200 for one area to roughly $400–$450 for the three classic upper-face areas. Our flat-rate House All-You-Need Tox package covers forehead, the 11s and crow's feet for $399 with up to 45 units of Letybo.

Is Botox priced per unit or per area?

We offer both. Per-unit pricing is $6/unit for Dysport and Daxxify or $10/unit for Botox, Xeomin and Letybo, each with a 20-unit minimum. Flat-rate options include the $399 three-area House All-You-Need Tox, $100 for a single small area like a lip flip or brow lift, $500 for masseter jaw slimming and $600 for the Nefertiti neck lift.

How many units of Botox will I need?

It depends on your anatomy and how strong the treated muscles are, and your injector determines your dose at your appointment. As a general sense of scale, one upper-face area commonly falls in the 10–25 unit range, and all three classic upper-face areas together often fall in the 30–45 unit range. Small tweaks like a lip flip use only about 4–8 units.

Why is Dysport cheaper per unit than Botox?

Because Dysport units are dosed differently — it usually takes more Dysport units to treat the same area, so the lower per-unit price does not translate into a proportionally lower total. The two products are also suited to slightly different jobs: Dysport diffuses more, which can be an advantage on broader areas like the forehead.

Is there a minimum spend for Botox?

Both per-unit tiers have a 20-unit minimum. There is also a $500 treatment minimum on Fridays and Saturdays for injectable services with your injector — weekdays have no minimum, so smaller treatments are best booked Tuesday through Thursday.

Does a consultation cost extra?

A new client consultation is $50 and is applied toward your treatment total if you are treated the same day. Texas law also requires a $50 Good Faith Exam at your first visit and once annually after that, which likewise applies to your same-day treatment total.

How long does Botox last, and how often will I pay for it?

Standard neurotoxin results typically last about three to four months, so most people budget for three to four treatments a year. Daxxify is FDA-approved for extended duration with results lasting up to six months for many patients, which can mean fewer visits annually.

The honest bottom line

For most people starting out, a realistic first-visit total at our Austin studio lands somewhere between a single small area ($100) and the full three-area package ($399), plus the $50 consult and, on a first visit, the $50 exam — both of which come back to you as credit toward same-day treatment. That's the number we'd want if we were the ones searching. Bring your questions and your budget to a consultation and we'll build a plan around both — including telling you when the answer is to do less.
