Injectables can only do so much if the skin underneath them isn't healthy. At The Wellness House, we pair every neurotoxin and filler conversation with an honest look at your skin's actual condition — texture, congestion, barrier health, pigment — and we treat that separately, with products chosen for results rather than marketing. Three brands make up the core of our skincare program: GlyMed Plus, Face Reality, and ProCell. Here's why those three, specifically, and what each one is actually for.
Why we don't carry a little of everything
Most med spas stock whatever's trending. We've gone the other direction — a small, deliberate lineup of medical grade skincare lines, each with a clear job. Leyla Guzmán and our medical staff-led team select product lines the same way we select injectable techniques: based on evidence, ingredient transparency, and what we've seen actually change skin over time in hundreds of confident clients. That means fewer products on the shelf, but more confidence behind each one.
GlyMed Plus: the foundation
GlyMed Plus is our go-to for general skin health — barrier repair, hydration, antioxidant protection, and gentle correction for sun damage and early aging. It's formulated by estheticians and chemists with a clinical background, which means the products are potent enough to matter but formulated to respect the skin barrier rather than strip it. We use GlyMed Plus as the backbone of most custom facials and as home-care support after filler or neurotoxin appointments, when skin needs calm, steady maintenance rather than aggressive intervention.
Face Reality: for actual acne
Acne is not a one-product problem, and it's not something we treat the same way we treat fine lines. Face Reality is a professional-only line built specifically around acne biology — bacteria, oil production, inflammation, and the post-acne marks that linger long after breakouts clear. We use it with clients who come in frustrated after years of over-the-counter trial and error. The protocols are structured, often involving an initial consult and a tailored regimen rather than a single product recommendation, because consistent acne improvement is a program, not a purchase.
- Best for: active breakouts, clogged pores, post-acne marks, oily or congested skin
- Not primarily for: fine lines, volume loss, or general anti-aging — that's a different conversation entirely
- Often paired with: in-office extractions and a home-care plan reviewed at follow-up visits
ProCell: collagen induction, done properly
ProCell is our microneedling and collagen-induction system — used for texture, fine lines, scarring, and overall skin quality through controlled micro-injury that encourages the skin to rebuild its own collagen and elastin. It's a nice complement to injectables rather than a replacement for them: filler and neurotoxin address volume and movement, while ProCell addresses the quality of the skin surface itself — tone, texture, and that smoother, more even look clients often ask for once their injectable results are already where they want them.
Medical grade doesn't mean one-size-fits-all. Every skincare recommendation here starts with a real conversation about your skin's history and goals, not a generic retail upsell.
How skincare fits into your injectable plan
We don't treat skincare as an add-on sale — it's part of how we think about undetectable injectables in the first place. Healthy, well-supported skin holds filler more predictably, shows neurotoxin results more evenly, and simply looks better in natural light, which is the whole point. If you're already a client, ask about working a GlyMed Plus, Face Reality, or ProCell plan into your next visit. If you're new to The Wellness House, your first appointment is a good time to talk through both your injectable goals and what's actually going on with your skin.
