Lip Filler Cost in Austin: What 0.2ml, 0.5ml and 1ml Actually Get You

"How much is lip filler?" is really three questions wearing a trench coat: what does a syringe cost, how much do I need, and what happens to that number if I don't love it. Here are our published prices in Austin and honest answers to all three — including the part where more product is not the same thing as a better result.

Our lip filler prices

We price by volume, in three sizes, all shaped with our Soft Russian technique using premium hyaluronic-acid fillers — Kysse, RHA or Versa, chosen for your lips rather than for our inventory:

  • 0.2ml — $375. A micro-dose for ultra-subtle definition, first-timers who want barely-there change, or maintaining an existing result.
  • 0.5ml — $599. Our most popular starting volume: noticeable but natural, and enough to shape a cupid's bow, build a fuller lower lip or improve symmetry.
  • 1ml — $750. The most transformative option, for thinner lips or a genuine shape change, built in structured layers rather than one big deposit.
  • Filler dissolve — $200 per vial, with most people needing one to two vials.

Note what the per-millilitre math does as you go up: 0.5ml is $599, but the full millilitre is $750 rather than double. That isn't a nudge to buy more than you need — it's simply how the pricing works, and it matters mainly for people who genuinely want a shape change and would otherwise end up paying twice for two separate appointments.

How much do you actually need?

Most first-timers need less than they think. If you're coming in with reasonable natural volume and want definition, 0.2ml to 0.5ml is usually the honest answer. If your lips are genuinely thin or you're after a visible change in shape, 1ml gives us enough to build structure properly. And if you're maintaining lips you already love, the micro-dose exists precisely so you're not overpaying to top up.

We'd rather stage it. Starting at 0.5ml and reassessing at two weeks — once swelling has fully resolved and you've lived with the shape — is almost always a better path than starting at 1ml and hoping. You can always add. Taking away is a separate appointment and a separate cost.

Swelling is not your result. Lips look considerably bigger for the first several days, and judging your outcome at day three is the single most common reason people think they got too much. We reassess at a $50 two-week follow-up, where any product left in your original syringe can be used to fine-tune.

What it costs if you change your mind

This is the number nobody advertises, and it's the one that should make you feel safest. Hyaluronic-acid filler is reversible: dissolving is $200 per vial with us, using a purified hyaluronidase enzyme, and most people need one to two vials. That's a meaningful discount on the going rate, and it's deliberate — we don't think the cost of fixing something should be a reason anyone lives with lips they don't like, including lips we didn't place.

If you plan to refill afterward, we generally wait at least two weeks before placing new product, so budget for dissolving and rebuilding as two appointments rather than one.

Lip flip vs. lip filler, by price

A lip flip is $100 and uses just a few units of neurotoxin to roll the upper lip gently outward — no volume added, lasting roughly six to sixteen weeks. Filler starts at $375 and lasts 12 to 18 months at the smaller volumes, or 12 to 24 months at 1ml. So the flip is cheaper per visit and dramatically more expensive per year of results, which makes it a great trial run and a poor long-term substitute. If what you want is volume, the flip will not deliver it at any price.

Booking costs to know about

  • A new client consultation is $50, applied to your treatment total if you're treated the same day.
  • A $50 Good Faith Exam is required by Texas law at your first visit, then annually — also applied to your same-day treatment total.
  • There's a $500 injectable minimum on Fridays and Saturdays. Every lip volume except the 0.2ml micro-dose clears it on its own; weekdays have no minimum at all.

How much is lip filler in Austin?

At The Wellness House, lip filler is $375 for 0.2ml, $599 for 0.5ml and $750 for 1ml, shaped with our Soft Russian technique using Kysse, RHA or Versa. A new client consultation is $50 and applies toward your treatment total when you're treated the same day.

How much lip filler do I need for my first time?

Most first-timers do well with 0.2ml to 0.5ml. Our 0.5ml is the most popular starting volume — noticeable but natural. A full 1ml is generally reserved for genuinely thin lips or a real change in shape. We recommend starting conservatively and reassessing at two weeks rather than placing the maximum on day one.

How long does lip filler last?

Our 0.2ml and 0.5ml treatments typically last 12 to 18 months, and 1ml typically lasts 12 to 24 months. Longevity varies with your metabolism, how active you are and the product used.

What does it cost to dissolve lip filler?

Dissolving is $200 per vial at The Wellness House, and most people need one to two vials. We use a purified hyaluronidase enzyme, and we treat clients who had their original filler placed elsewhere. If you plan to refill afterward, we usually wait at least two weeks before placing new product.

Is a lip flip cheaper than lip filler?

Per visit, yes — a lip flip is $100 versus $375 and up for filler. But a flip lasts roughly six to sixteen weeks while filler lasts 12 to 24 months, so filler is usually less expensive per year. A flip also adds no volume; it only lets the upper lip roll outward, so it isn't a substitute if fullness is your goal.

Is a touch-up included in the price?

Your lip filler price covers the product placed at your appointment. A Filler Follow Up within two weeks is $50 — your injector reassesses once swelling has settled, fine-tunes the result and uses any product remaining from your original syringe. New product beyond that is priced separately. Our $399 House All-You-Need Tox package for neurotoxin does include a complimentary two-week refinement.

Why is 1ml not double the price of 0.5ml?

Our pricing is set per treatment size rather than strictly per millilitre — 0.5ml is $599 and 1ml is $750. That mainly benefits clients who genuinely want a shape change, but it is never a reason to buy more volume than your lips need.

What you're really paying for

The syringe is the cheap part. What actually determines whether lips look expensive or obvious is where the product goes, how it's layered, and whether your injector is willing to stop early. Our whole approach — undetectable injectables, built in stages — costs us more appointments and sells less product per visit. It's also the only reason anyone can't tell.
